Yesterday, while browsing one of my favourites online forum, i was surprised to see it corrupted… A hidden frame with Javascript code, a nice xml.wmf… I contacted the forum admin. Site is currently down. 🙁
OpenBSD on Compaq nx7010
My notebook HD died yesterday (Linux was installed). Today I decided to test OpenBSD on it.
/dev/hda dead!
No idea if it’s the high temperature we had the last weeks, the hollidays, the moon phase but yesterday my business laptop harddisk died! :-[ Bad blocks on /dev/hda2 (/) and /usr/hda6 (/usr). Game over! RIP! (It’s the 4th HP notebook that lost its disk in my company in 3

Major hardware issues with my box! Several random crashes, became very unstable and unusable… 🙁 Seems that it was a motherboard problems! Finally, everything is back online. In the same time, I completely reinstalled the OS (OpenBSD 3.9 now)
