Finally, I got my eID! To be honest, I don’t use systems which require an eID right now but, I’ve got mine!
That’s really cool to have a state-of-the-art ID card. Really?
When I picked up the card to my local administration, the employer printed a dump of the data contained on the card and suggested me to keep it with me:
“In case of a police control, if their eID reader is stuck,
you’ll be always able to prove your identity.”
In fact, the address is not printed on the card itself, you need a scanner to read it from the memory CHIP!
Who said we entered a “paperless era”? 😉
