A few weeks ago, my box was moved to a new datacenter without prior notification(!). My hoster just gave the reason of the move: better prices! Result: six hours of downtime.
Last Friday, 10PM, my server went down for an unknown reason (just before the long X-mas weekend, thanks to Murphy’s laws). Of course, as the box was moved to the new colo, my access was not yet granted :-[
I opened a call via my hoster web interface, I called their mobile support number. After many SMS, calls, emails, I finally got access this afternoon (~70 hours after the crash) and rebooted the box.
Anyway, merry X-mas to all my readers and lot of fun for 2007!
